About Us
Delta Phi Omega Spring 2015
History and InformationDelta Phi Omega was founded in 1926. We are a local sorority at Gustavus Adolphus College.
Members of Delta Phi Omega Sorority (Deltas) are a diverse group of Gustavus women. Many are involved across campus in different majors, clubs and athletic teams. The requirements to be a Delta are to be of sophomore standing and a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher. Deltas participate in many events including Relay for Life, hosting an annual Breast Cancer Benefit (BCB), Special Olympics, and Eppie-Delta Christmas. |

Breast Cancer Benefit CommitteeDelta Phi Omega's philanthropy is Breast Cancer Awareness and we raise more money for this cause than any other organization on campus. We spend the year raising money and at the end of October we hold a Breast Cancer Benefit. We work hard together to raise money to try to find a cure and help those fight back against breast cancer.
Co-Chairs: Savannah Leyda and Tessa Semerad If you are interested in learning more, send an email to Savannah or Tessa at either [email protected] or [email protected] respectively. |
Relay For Life CommitteeThis committee is responsible for organizing the Delta Relay team. Relay for Life occurs in the spring semester every year at Gustavus and the Deltas participate by forming a team, individually raising money, creating a memory slideshow, and also hosting an activity at the event called "Bosom Buddies" to fundraise and support our philanthropy.
